AMSOIL Super Heavy Weight Synthetic SAE 60 Racing Oil is a high-viscosity oil designed for high-horsepower racing engines, typically supercharged and alcohol-burning or nitro-fueled, and requiring a high viscosity oil to resist the thinning effects of fuel dilution.
It is also ideal for motorcycles where SAE 60 motor oil is required. It is formulated with a complete American Petroleum Institute (API) and Japan Automobile Standards Association (JASO) additive systems and may be used in any engine requiring specific API and JASO oils. Such engines include vintage and classic motorcycles, often equipped with air-cooled engines, such as Harley Davidson Knucklehead and Shovelhead models.
AMSOIL Racing SAE 60 Oil offers enduring wear protection and friction reduction in the extreme conditions of racing. It is race proven to inhibit engine wear, reduce friction and promote power. It resists engine heat, forming no sludge and harmful deposits.

AMSOIL Super Heavy Weight SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil is formulated with a complete and robust additive package, making it suitable for all engines for which API SL/CF SAE 60 oils are specified or desired. AMSOIL Racing SAE 60 Oil contains no friction modifiers and is wet-clutch compatible, meeting the frictional requirements of JASO MA and ISO-L-EMA. The combination of high viscosity, full additive system and wet-clutch compatibility make this oil an excellent candidate for use in air-cooled vintage and classic motorcycle engines such as the Harley Davidson Knucklehead and Shovelhead models.

AMSOIL Super Heavy Weight SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil is highly resistant to thermal degradation and oxidation. Even in long-term, high-temperature service, AMSOIL Racing SAE 60 Oil maintains its specified chemical and physical properties, forming no sludge, varnish, deposits or acids and maintaining its specified viscosity and ability to protect and lubricate engines.

AMSOIL Super Heavy Weight SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil is highly resistant to evaporative losses, which keeps oil consumption rates low. Low rates of oil consumption also means the oil flows freely because it doesn't boil or "burn off" and thicken, ensuring dependable lubrication and protection.
Retains Oil Viscosity
AMSOIL Super Heavy Weight SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil is shear stable, so the viscosity grade that's installed in the engine is the viscosity grade that stays in the engine. That's especially important for race engines, motorcycle engines and other engines subject to high-temperature/high-stress operations. Viscosity retention ensures the maintenance of a protective lubricant film between working metal parts, which prevents metal-to-metal contact and consequent failure or engine wear.

AMSOIL Super Heavy Weight SAE 60 Synthetic Racing Oil is recommended for use in gasoline- or alcohol-fueled engines requiring and SAE 60, API SL/CF engine oil. Also recommended for motorcycle engines requiring an SAE 60 JASO MA or ISO-L-EMA fluid, such as the air-cooled vintage and classic motorcycle engines in Harley Davidson Knucklehead and Shovelhead models. AMSOIL Racing SAE 60 Oil is not recommended for use in cold-temperature environments.
