Praises AMSOIL!

LNG
Publishing Company, Inc.
In the March 2003 issue of
Lubes 'n' Greases,
Automotive Editor David McFall wrote an
in-depth article on the subject of extended oil drain intervals and
touted AMSOIL as a safe, cost-effective and environmentally preferred
choice. He praised AMSOIL for their commitment to excellence and labeled
AMSOIL "unshackled"
for never conforming to industry norms and standards.

Compare AMSOIL to Mobil 1,
Pennzoil, Quaker State, Castrol and more!

AMSOIL 10W-30 Motor Oil and ten
competing oils were subjected to a series of tests. AMSOIL
outperformed all the competitors in nearly every test! See the
impressive test results!

Superior All-Season Protection
in Farm and
Commercial Equipment
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-30 Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is
an an all-weather Universal Tractor Transmission Oil (UTTO), engineered to meet the tough demands
of heavy-duty, hydraulic-powered farm and commercial equipment,
exceeding the performance requirements of virtually every
piece of modern machinery. AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor
Hydraulic/Transmission Oil's unique formulation of synthetic
base stocks and additives provide exceptional lubrication, for
less wear and more reliability. It provides vastly superior
cold- and hot-temperature performance, for easy cold-weather
start-ups, faster warm-ups and cooler operation. And, it has a
longer service life, for cost savings in replacement fluid and
downtime.

Excellent
Protection in Temperature
Extremes
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor
Hydraulic/Transmission Oil operates over a wide
temperature range. It has a high viscosity
index (VI) to maintain its lubricity at high operating
temperatures, and it flows at temperatures as low
as -47°F (-44°C) for improved equipment operation
and wear protection at low temperatures. Synthetic
Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil exceeds the
most demanding “all weather” specifications of
both Ford New Holland FNHA-2-C-200 & 2-C-201
and John Deere J20C & J20D, eliminating the
need for seasonal oil changes.
Outstanding Wear Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil contains
superior anti-wear additives to provide protection from scoring
and gear wear under all load conditions. It extends equipment
life, even under severe conditions, and increases pump and valve
life. It may be used in final drives calling for a UTTO.
Equipment Runs 20º to 50°F Cooler
Excess heat is a major enemy of hydraulic/transmission fluids
and most hydraulic/transmission failures are caused by
contamination or breakdown of the hydraulic fluid. AMSOIL
Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is highly resistant
to heat breakdown and chemical changes. With AMSOIL Synthetic
Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil, equipment runs 20º to 50°F
cooler. Cooler operation increases equipment life, especially
for hoses, which are susceptible to heat damage.
Suppresses Wet Brake Chatter
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is
formulated with durable friction modifier additives that
effectively suppress wet brake chatter. When the friction
modifiers in conventional hydraulic/transmission oils break
down, an imbalance of pressure occurs in the tractor's brake
system, causing uncontrollable vibrations. Unlike conventional
oils, the premium-quality friction modifiers in AMSOIL Synthetic
Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil remain intact throughout the
oil's service life for smooth, continuous, long-term brake
operation.
Resists Foaming for Optimum Oil Pressure
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil resists
foaming. Foaming reduces hydraulic oil pressure and diminishes
the lubricating protection provided by the oil. AMSOIL Synthetic
Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil's resistance to foam provides
rapid air release, cooler operation, smooth brake operation and
control over fade and spongy hydraulic response. It resists
foaming even when the reservoir is low.
Superior Protection Against Rust and Corrosion During
Equipment Storage
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil provides
superior protection against rust and corrosion, an important
form of protection during equipment storage.
Conditions Seals and Hoses
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil contains
seal and hose conditioners, providing seal and hose flexibility,
positive seal seating, reduced oil leaking, fewer blown hoses
and extended seal and hose life. AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor
Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is compatible with all seal
materials.
Simplifies Inventories and Prevents Misapplications
AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is a
universal fluid that greatly reduces the need for specialized
fluid inventories and the possibilities of misapplication,
eliminating confusion and simplifying inventory requirements.
Extended Service Life
The durability of AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor
Hydraulic/Transmission Oil allows longer drain intervals than
those of conventional fluids. Oil analysis is recommended to
determine specific oil drain interval. For more information about oil analysis, visit our
Oil Analyzers, Inc. page.
Oil Analyzers, Inc., a division of AMSOIL, Inc., provides cost
effective, quality oil analysis services.
To install AMSOIL
Hydraulic/Transmission Oil in a hydraulic system,
drain the existing hydraulic/transmission oil,
change filters and install AMSOIL Synthetic
Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil.
