AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil is a premium-quality lubricant formulated to biodegrade when subjected to
sunlight, water and microbial activity. It has a very low toxicity level because
it is formulated with ashless additives that do not contain
heavy metals.
AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable Hydraulic Oil is
formulated from very high-quality synthetic base oils that withstand
high-temperature/high-stress operations better than vegetable-oil-based
biodegradable hydraulic oils, ensuring problem-free operation.

AMSOIL Synthetic
Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil
incorporates very high-quality synthetic base
oils that provide thermal stability, even though
they are biodegradable, and it contains anti-wear
additives that have been thoroughly tested and
qualified against stringent hydraulic oil
standards including Denison HF0, HF1 and HF2,
Vickers M-2950S and I-286S and Cincinnati Milacron
P-68 and P-70. AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable
Hydraulic Oil provides optimum protection for
hydraulics, preventing pump wear and rusting of
critical components.
Resists Foaming
AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil contains foam inhibitors that
quickly release air from the oil, preventing
spongy hydraulics, rapid lubricant oxidation and increased cavitation.
Outstanding Cold-Temperature Performance
The lack of paraffins (wax) in AMSOIL Synthetic
Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil allow it remain
fluid in cold-temperature operations, for instant flow to the pump, better protection and
eliminating time and fuel spent on equipment warm up. Equipment
starts easier and the need for preheating with sump heaters is
reduced. Extended Service Life
AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil
contains antioxidants that increases the oil's life. The ability of this oil to extend drain intervals and
excel in performance, however, is subject to operating
conditions and maintenance practices. Monitoring
by oil analysis is recommended.
Viscosity Grades and Applications
AMSOIL Synthetic
Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil is a multi-viscosity SAE 5W-20 oil and is recommended
for use in place of either ISO-32 or ISO-46
hydraulic oils. It is
recommended for gear, vane and piston stationary
and mobile hydraulic systems.
AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable Anti-Wear
Hydraulic Oil is especially well
suited for applications where environmental
contamination due to leaking or blown hydraulic
lines presents an environmental hazard.
Compatibility
AMSOIL Synthetic Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil has been tested and
found compatible with Nitrile (Buna-N), Poly Acrylate,
Fluorocarbon (Viton) and Silicone seals which are commonly found
in hydraulic systems. AMSOIL Synthetic
Biodegradable Anti-Wear Hydraulic
Oil is essentially compatible with
typical hydraulic oils, and small amounts of
contamination (lines, residue) are acceptable.
For optimum performance, it is recommended systems be drained
and, if warranted, cleaned prior to installation. Excessive system
contamination will minimize its biodegradability
effectiveness.
