AMSOIL DOMINATOR™ Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil is an exclusive formulation
that lubricates and protects high-performance two-cycle motors, both on
and off the track. AMSOIL DOMINATOR™ is engineered for racing. High-performance
motors, particularly those that are modified, operate hotter and at higher RPMs than recreational motors and they need good oil for peak performance.

Super Film Strength
High-performance two-cycle motors have high compression
ratios, which significantly increase combustion chamber heat and
crankshaft bearing pressures. Hot combustion processes quickly
burn off and evaporate light oils and cause rapid piston
expansion, decreasing piston-to-cylinder wall clearances. This
promotes piston scuffing and possible seizure. Increased
pressure on crankshaft bearings promotes metal-to-metal contact,
wear and pitting.
High heat and pressures require a tough oil. AMSOIL
DOMINATOR™ Synthetic 2-Cycle
Racing Oil is formulated to handle high heat better than mineral
oils, providing improved film strength and more lubricity for an
extra measure of protection against piston scuffing and
crankshaft bearing wear.
Better Lubricity Means More Power and Less Piston Scuffing
AMSOIL DOMINATOR™
Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil contains heavier synthetic base
oils that provide greater lubricity (or slipperiness). The
function of lubricity is to reduce friction, increase power and
prevent piston scuffing. Tightening within the cylinder, caused
by high temperatures, increases friction and wear, robbing
valuable power from the engine. AMSOIL DOMINATOR™'s
high lubricity increases power and torque by reducing friction
and provides maximum protection against piston scuffing,
resulting in better throttle response and overall performance.
Runs Cleaner
Because two-cycle motors burn oil, it is important for the
oil to burn clean to prevent carbon build-up. The three primary
advantages of using clean-burning two-cycle oils are:
- reduced spark plug fouling (spark plug fouling causes
backfires and prevents the motor from running smoothly)
- no ring sticking (ring sticking decreases performance
and can lead to motor seizure)
- reduced deposit formation (deposits can cause
predetonation, burn holes in the piston and clog the exhaust
port)
AMSOIL DOMINATOR™
Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil is specially formulated to burn
clean, ensuring optimal engine performance. It contains highly
pure AMSOIL synthetic oil and strong, high-temperature detergent
additives to prevent spark plug fouling, ring sticking and
deposit formation that can clog the exhaust port and limit the
action of exhaust power valves found on high-performance
two-strokes. AMSOIL DOMINATOR™
is an optimized product for severe service.
Applications
AMSOIL DOMINATOR™
Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil is recommended for use in high-performance stock or modified two-cycle motors, including air- or
liquid-cooled snowmobiles, personal watercraft, motorcycles (Moto
X), ATVs, go-carts and outboard motors*. AMSOIL DOMINATOR™
is good for use with exhaust power valves, coated or non-coated
pistons and high-octane racing fuels. For more details, see the

AMSOIL DOMINATOR™ may be used as an injector oil or at
a 50:1 pre-mix ratio (2.6 ounces per U.S. gallon of gas) where
API TC or JASO FC oils are specified. AMSOIL DOMINATOR™
is not suitable for use with alcohol or nitro-methane fuels.
*Not suitable for long-term use in outboard motors as a TC-W3
type oil, although excellent as a race oil for short-term use
where motors are periodically inspected.
